Ernesto is a partner of Galicia in the firm’s energy and project finance practice group.
He has extensive experience in cross-border financings, project finance and development of infrastructure and energy projects, including petrochemical, natural gas, electricity and renewable energy, where he represents both project sponsors and lenders.
He has also been involved in numerous energy project investments and acquisitions. Prior to joining Galicia, Ernesto spent several years engaged in civil, administrative and commercial litigation work. His prior experience in litigation gives him a different view and better understanding of the risk profile of his clients’ transactions, complementing his project finance practice.
He worked from 2014 to 2015 as a foreign associate in the Washington D.C. office of Mayer Brown.

He holds an LLM in Corporate Law from the Universidad Panamericana, an LLM in US Law from Boston University and a law degree from the Universidad Anáhuac. He joined Galicia in 2007.
