She has 17 years of experience in providing tax advisory services to national and multinational companies in the area of ​​consulting, tax planning, tax diagnosis and structuring of purchase, investment, business and equity reorganization within the Central American market. Her experience includes the provision of tax consulting and asset restructuring services to both national and multinational companies of great relevance in the country and in the Central American region, as well as participation in mergers and acquisitions. She has led the tax analysis in multiple transactions of acquisitions and sales of companies, including multi-jurisdictional transactions.

She is a tax advisor for the Chamber of Commerce and represents the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and the Chamber of Foreign Companies (CRECEX) before the Tax Sub-Commission of UCCAEP.

Cristina is a founding member and serves as a board member of the Costa Rican Chapter of the Women in the Profession (WIP) of the Vance Center in New York since 2016.
