Mercedes San Juan has nearly twenty years of experience in legal advice, and in last ten years practicing as a lawyer specialized in litigation.
Throughout those years, Mercedes San Juan has advised clients from different backgrounds and sectors (banking and insurance, construction and public works, electronics and software, hotels and leisure, gaming, real estate, chemicals and telecommunications, transportation, among others) in judicial proceedings of all kinds, especially in the commercial and corporate fields.
She also has extensive experience in advising on international trade operations (export from other markets to the EU and from it to other countries, especially Brazil and other Mercosur countries).

- Attendance and participation in workshops and conferences on issues regarding European law and International Trade
- ICEX Programme (grant conferred by the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade Foreign -ICEX), at the Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Lisbon (1993)
