Nelson Arriaga Checo concentrates his professional practice in administrative law, constitutional law, energy law, telecommunications law, competition law, aviation law, governmental and regulatory affairs in general. He also addresses strategic litigation planning, investigation, and analysis of complex issues. He has provided legal assistance to both private and public sector institutions.

EDUCATION

• He obtained a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and a master’s degree in Public Economic Law from OMG Institute (expected graduation in 2020).
• He obtained a certificate in Administrative Law and Public Management by the Committee for the Study and Dissemination of Law in Latin America and a certificate in Law of Economic Regulation and Competition by the University of Valladolid, Spain.
• He also obtained a certification in strategic negotiation with the Harvard methodology offered by Cambridge International Consulting.
