Clyde & Co hires Eduardo García Carmona from Latham & Watkins to strengthen its Insurance and Litigation team in Madrid

Clyde & Co has strengthened its Insurance and Litigation practice in Madrid with the addition of Eduardo García Carmona as a new member of its team. As reported by BDS, García Carmona joins the firm after a solid five-year career in the Litigation Department of international law firm Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was involved in highly complex proceedings and strategic litigation at national and international level.

With a distinctly international profile, Eduardo García Carmona has been involved in appeals before the Supreme Court and has accumulated relevant experience in the resolution of complex disputes, positioning himself as a leading lawyer in the field of litigation.

He holds a law degree from the University of Navarra, where he also completed the prestigious Anglo-American Law Program, focused on comparative legal training. During his academic years, he interned at the law firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, which marked the beginning of his professional career at top-tier firms.

He subsequently completed a double master’s degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Business Law, furthering his specialization through training programs in London and the United States, focusing on procedural law and comparative law.
