Hugo López Coll joins Sainz Abogados

Sainz Abogados announces that Hugo Lopez Coll, a leading lawyer in the areas of corporate governance, investigations and compliance, has joined the Firm as a Partner.

Hugo López Coll joins Sainz Abogados from Greenberg Traurig, where he was one of the founders of its Mexico City office. He counsels clients on regulatory and compliance matters, and regularly assists clients with issues arising under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anticorruption and anti-money laundering laws.

Hugo Lopez Coll has developed a broad practice representing domestic and international clients on regulatory, investigations and compliance matters, and transactional and corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, as well as gaming issues. Hugo is admitted in New York and Mexico and received his law degree, with honors, from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School.
