PBP Strengthens Leadership, Naming Sandra Reed as Firm President and Juan Gabriel Reyes as Managing Partner  

Pérez Bustamante & Ponce (PBP) is pleased to announce that its partners have appointed Sandra Reed as the firm’s new president and Juan Gabriel Reyes as managing partner. This appointment, the result of a strategic leadership process, seeks to propel the firm’s vision into the future.

Sandra Reed, with more than four decades of experience, is a distinguished figure in the legal sector, particularly recognised for her expertise in infrastructure and financing projects. Her deep commitment to social responsibility is reflected in her leadership at the helm of the Fabián Ponce Ordóñez Foundation and her active participation in multiple trade association projects. Chambers Latin America recently highlighted her as a ‘distinguished partner’ and ‘highly sought after by leading figures in the infrastructure and energy sectors for her outstanding track record as an advisor in complex negotiations.’

For his part, Juan Gabriel Reyes assumes the role of managing partner after successfully leading the firm’s tax and Family Office practices. His vast experience is complemented by his work as a professor at the College of Jurisprudence of the University of San Francisco in Quito and as chairman of the Tax Commission of the Ecuador chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
