Pérez-Llorca is the Ibero-American law firm with the highest number of practices ranked in Band 1 in the Chambers Latin America 2027 guide, published by Chambers & Partners, one of the world’s most prestigious legal directories.
The firm has achieved 12 Band 1 and 12 Band 2 practice rankings, placing 24 practice areas within the two highest categories of the Chambers Latin America rankings. This also makes Pérez-Llorca the Ibero-American firm with the highest combined number of Band 1 and Band 2 rankings, consolidating its leadership in the region.
In total, Pérez-Llorca secured 51 practice-area rankings in this year’s edition. According to the firm, these results consolidate its position in the region and reflect the strength of its teams in Mexico, Colombia and Peru, reaffirming an internationalisation strategy that has turned Pérez-Llorca into a leading legal platform in Ibero-America.
In Peru, the firm, following the integration of Miranda & Amado with Pérez-Llorca, has achieved six Band 1 practice rankings after Competition/Antitrust moved up to the top category, joining Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Real Estate.
In Colombia, Pérez-Llorca now has five Band 1 practices, following the promotion of Corporate/M&A and Energy & Natural Resources, which join Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Tax, already ranked in the highest category.
In Mexico, Pérez-Llorca has obtained a Band 1 ranking in Dispute Resolution: Civil & Commercial Litigation: Highly Regarded, while Projects has moved up to Band 2.
Regarding its Band 2 rankings, the firm is ranked in Dispute Resolution: Litigation, Energy & Natural Resources: Oil & Gas, Environment and Projects in Peru; Dispute Resolution: Civil & Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, International Trade/WTO, Public Law and Real Estate in Colombia; and Corporate/M&A: Elite, Intellectual Property and Projects in Mexico.
In terms of individual lawyers ranked in the Chambers Latin America 2027 guide, the firm has received 128 individual recognitions, reflecting the prestige and experience of its lawyers.
