PCLA launches regional alliance for private clients in Latin America

July 07, 2026

Private Client Latam Advisors (PCLA) has been launched as a new legal and tax alliance focused on private clients in Latin America, with the aim of strengthening specialized advice for private clients, business families and wealth structures with regional and international reach.

The network brings together recognized tax firms from the region and is initially composed of McEwan from Argentina, Humberto Sanches e Associados from Brazil, Fuensalida & Del Valle from Chile, and Turanzas, Bravo & Ambrosi from Mexico.

The launch of PCLA - Private Client Latam Advisors took place on June 10 in São Paulo, Brazil, within the framework of the 18th Annual IBA/ABA Conference on Tax Trends in the United States and Latin America.

The strategic alliance was created to provide specialized legal and tax advice to private clients, business families and wealth structures with a regional and international presence. PCLA was established in response to the growing dynamism of cross-border investments and the need to offer efficient, sophisticated and reliable regional coordination for multi-jurisdictional structures and businesses.

The network strategically connects high-net-worth individuals and families (HNWI), family offices, trustees, financial institutions, investment banks, companies and their advisers, providing comprehensive solutions with local knowledge and a regional perspective.

The creation of the alliance was led by lawyers Herbie Robinson, Humberto Sanches, Jaime del Valle and Pedro Ramírez Mota Velasco, respectively, from the four founding firms that make up the network.

The member firms have been recognized annually and consistently as leaders in their respective jurisdictions by Chambers & Partners in the Tax and Private Wealth practice areas, and are highly regarded boutique firms at both local and international level.

The alliance initially covers Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico, with the aim of expanding to other jurisdictions in the region in the short term. To that end, the founding firms are in discussions with specialized and highly reputed firms in the most relevant Latin American jurisdictions.

With this initiative, PCLA seeks to consolidate itself as a leading regional platform for private clients and international advisers requiring specialized support in Latin America, while maintaining each firm’s distinctive identity and promoting close, agile and highly sophisticated collaboration.

The partners of the firms that are members of PCLA stated: "PCLA - Private Client Latam Advisors represents a new form of regional collaboration among specialized boutique firms, based on trust, technical excellence and a deep understanding of the needs of private clients in Latin America".
