TCA Tanoira Cassagne advises Grupo Financiero Galicia in its alliance with Santander 

TCA Tanoira Cassagne advised Grupo Financiero Galicia (GFG) in the negotiation, structuring and implementation of its recent strategic alliance with Banco Santander to enhance financing to the agricultural sector through Nera, a company that until now was exclusively owned by GFG.

Nera is an innovative payment and financing platform designed for the agricultural sector that connects producers and suppliers with financial institutions and virtual wallets, simplifying the purchase of inputs and livestock. Through various financing options, producers can access loans in pesos, dollars or grains, tailored to their specific needs.

This partnership will enable both financial institutions to expand access to credit for agricultural producers, thus promoting innovation and efficiency in the sector’s financing. The alliance is part of a global trend of financial digitalization, offering new opportunities for the securitization of agricultural assets in the Argentine market. This alliance marks a strategic milestone for both financial institutions, enabling them to leverage synergies to enhance Nera’s growth and regional expansion.
