Nassar Abogados represents the first Costa Rican company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange

Nassar Abogados served as the legal counsel for Costa Rica and El Salvador for Logistic Properties of the Americas (LPA) in a groundbreaking deal for Central America, allowing the company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Nassar Abogados provided support to LPA in the due diligence process, negotiations concerning specific local elements of the Business Combination Agreement, and other corporate matters.

As part of their involvement, their team, comprising a Partner, a Senior Associate, and an Associate, participated in the Opening Bell Ceremony at the NYSE on May 30, 2024.

On their official LinkedIn site, the NYSE posted: "The first Costa Rican company to list on NYSE. Congratulations to the team at Logistic Properties of the Americas, led by CEO and birthday bell-ringer Esteban Saldarriaga!"

The deal was primarily led by LPA’s legal counsel in New York, Baker McKenzie. Additionally, Brigard Urrutia (Colombia), Sigma Law Firm and Fábrega Molino (Panama), as well as MOAR Abogados (Peru) also contributed to assisting LPA.
