Social Security lawyer, Administrative Court judge in Madrid and tenured professor (accredited) of Administrative Law at Universidad Carlos III, among other roles.
He has extensive professional experience in legal practice and academia, particularly in Administrative Law and Sports Law.
In public administration, he has held positions including secretary general of the Official State Gazette; chief of staff to the secretaries of state for public administration, justice and sport; director of the Inspectorate of Services at the Ministry of the Presidency; and deputy director general for professional sport, among others.
His academic and editorial work includes a prolific body of publications. He is also a member of the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, director of the Aranzadi Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law, and director of the Master’s in Sports Law at the University of Valencia. Among other distinctions, he has received the Cross of the Order of San Raimundo de Peñafort, First Class, the government’s highest distinction for a lawyer in recognition of professional achievement and excellence.
