Alexandra Aguilar

Alexandra is a Director at BLP in the San José, Costa Rica office, specializing in the Labor & Employment practice.

She has extensive experience providing advice to national and foreign companies on a variety of labor issues such as prevention, planning, correction, internal structuring, compensation, executive staff benefits, internal regulations, processes before administrative authorities, litigation, among others.

She has coordinated legal advice at the regional level for the other BLP offices in Central America, as well as has led due diligence processes for foreign companies interested in establishing themselves in Costa Rica.

She has experience coaching executive staff on labor matters and speaking at the regional level.

She is a certified private mediator, so she has experience in private resolution of labor disputes.

She joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2014. She has previously worked as an Associate at BDS Asesores. She was Legal and Human Resources Manager of Informatech, Legal Advisor for Human Capital and lawyer of the College of Therapists of Costa Rica.
