Jaime provides comprehensive legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on investment and divestment projects. He has acted as legal counsel on some of the most significant transactions in Colombia, including acquisitions and sales of companies, public takeover offers and auctions on the BVC, privatisations, and the structuring and financing of oil, road and energy infrastructure projects. Unlike at other firms, his training and extensive experience bring together in a single practice all the legal aspects relevant to these projects, including contractual, regulatory, corporate governance and competition law matters. This enables him to provide clients with a swift, efficient and coordinated solution to the legal issues relating to their investments.

- Law degree from Universidad del Rosario; specialist degree in Financial Law from the same university.
- Master of Laws (LLM) from Harvard Law School.
