INTERNATIONAL BRIBERY, CRIMINAL LIABILITY AND COMPLIANCE IN RISK MARKETS
 

In Law Alliance of Lawfirms will bring together leading experts on international bribery and compliance on 20 June in Madrid.

CIRCULO LEGAL, host firm of the international network In Law Alliance of Lawfirms, is preparing the next event of this organisation in Madrid, on 20 June, which will bring together qualified experts and authoritative voices in the prevention of international bribery.

The Ibero-American international network of law firms In Law Alliance of Lawfirms will present on 20 June in Madrid, with the collaboration of ICEX Alumni (the association of ICEX scholarship holders and former scholarship holders), an event dedicated exclusively to the legal treatment and prevention of international bribery in risk markets, which will be attended by leading panelists and recognised experts in the sector.

The event, organised by the host firm CIRCULO LEGAL, a member of the Alliance, will take place at the Cecabank Auditorium (C/Caballero de Gracia, 30) and will be broadcast via streaming. 

The event will be presented by the President of the In Law Alliance, Spanish lawyer Diego Cabezuela Sancho, who will be accompanied by Eugenio Ribón, Dean of the Madrid Bar Association, and Félix García-Giralda, President of ICEX Alumni. 

The keynote speaker will be Alejandro Luzón, Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organised Crime, compliance officers from leading international companies such as INDRA, CEPSA and FERROVIAL, representatives of the OECD and GAFILAT, State Lawyers and lawyers from the In Law Alliance network. 

The meeting will address the issue of international bribery in risk markets; the criminal liabilities that may arise from it - especially for managers and legal persons - and the essential role of compliance as a tool for protecting the legal position and reputation of companies in the development of their business activities in these areas of the world.
