Carlos joined Pérez-Llorca in September 2019 as a Partner in the capital markets and structured finance area ("Debt Capital Markets"). Prior to joining the firm, Carlos worked in the capital markets department of the Madrid office of a highly prestigious international firm. Likewise, Carlos has worked in the legal department of securities issues at J.P. Morgan in London.

Experience

Carlos has extensive experience in the financial sector, having advised financial institutions, funds, corporations and multinationals throughout his professional career in issuance operations of all types of debt instruments, including asset securitization, structured financing, issuance of corporate bonds, regulatory capital issues, high yield bond issues, mortgage market debt instrument issues, as well as asset acquisition operations, including distressed assets.

Likewise, he has extensive experience in advising financial institutions on banking and securities market regulation.

He highlights his participation in many of the most innovative fixed income, securitization and structured financing operations carried out in Spain in recent years, including the first credit card securitization carried out in Spain.
