Nadya is an Associate and IP Attorney of the firm and has been with us since 2016.
She is part of Intellectual Property Department, her responsibilities in the firm include the coordination and advise in connection with administrative or judicial issues that may arise in the different property procedures Intellectual.
Nadya is a specialist in the analysis, preparation and review of responses to objections or preliminary rejections that may arise in design applications. She also provides strategies for the filing or defense against oppositions and administrative remedies that occur in Intellectual Property cases.
In litigation, Nadya is responsible for the extra judicial negotiations in relation to the enforcement and protection of trademarks as well as in trials of nullities and cancellation of distinctive signs for lack of use. She is also involved in cases of misuse of trademarks, counterfeiting and piracy. As a lawyer, she represents our clients in the registration, maintenance and modification of trademarks and other distinctive signs.
Nadya has 17 years of experience the legal area and her expertise includes Intellectual Property, Commercial and Civil, Labor Law, Notarial and Registry Law
She has experience in teaching at workshops and seminars aimed at the to protect the intellectual property of our clients and the prevention of the appropriation of these assets, such as the workshop "Protection of Notorious and Famous Marks" by the Registry of Intellectual Property of El Salvador
