Educated at Universidad Nacional de El Salvador, San Salvador (attorney at law, 1964); the Supreme Court of Justice, San Salvador (notary public); and Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador, San Salvador (Masters degree in International Relations and Diplomacy). Currently chairman of the firm.
Practice areas are corporate law, foreign investment, insurance, telecommunications, aviation, free zones and arbitration; litigation for the protection of intellectual property, constitutional appeal and administrative court appeal; legal adviser for the private sector in the negotiations for CAFTA. Member of ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Industrial Property), IBA (International Bar Association) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property).
