In memory of Rodolfo Trampe

It is with great sadness that Von Wobeser y Sierra announces the passing of our dear partner and friend, Rodolfo Trampe, which occurred on November 10 in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by his family.

Rodolfo was much more than a great lawyer in the labor practice. He joined our firm over 20 years ago, becoming an invaluable partner. His strength, integrity, and love for life were exemplified in everything he did. His positive attitude and his ability to face challenges with courage made him one of the most beloved people at Von Wobeser y Sierra, and his absence will be deeply felt.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends. On behalf of everyone at Von Wobeser y Sierra, we are committed to providing support and care to his loved ones.

Rodolfo, we will always remember you with affection and gratitude. Rest in peace.



About Rodolfo Trampe:

Rodolfo was part of the Automotive and Manufacturing industry practice group and also collaborated with the Consumer Goods and Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences industry practice groups. Rodolfo had solid experience in labor and social security matters arising from mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, incorporation of new companies, divestitures and closing of operations. He assisted Fortune 500 companies in their expansion and restructuring processes within Mexico and Latin America. In addition, he was directly involved in several of the largest and most complex labor-related mergers and acquisitions in Mexico’s history.

He frequently advised clients in the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts for expatriates, senior executives and other employees; in the preparation and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements; in the review and implementation of pension plans; and in the drafting of internal regulations and other company policies. He assisted in the implementation of compensation packages and advised his clients on the relevance of labor compliance and the full observance of employer obligations.

Rodolfo successfully dealt with the termination of the employment relationship of executives and high-level employees. Also, the implementation of personnel transfer schemes in the context of corporate restructurings, strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience in labor litigation, both individual and collective, and in dealing with inspections by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Mexican Social Security Institute.

He was recognized by Chambers and Partners Latin America, The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, Latin Lawyer National, Who’s Who Legal Labour and Employment, and Who’s Who Legal Mexico, among other publications.
