Von Wobeser y Sierra has announced a significant leadership transition, introducing a new Executive Committee aimed at strengthening the firm’s strategic direction. Effective February 1, 2025, Adrián Magallanes and Diego Sierra will join the committee, while current members Luis Burgueño and Fernando Carreño will continue in their roles. This reshuffling is designed to ensure continuity and promote sustainable growth within the firm.

Claus von Wobeser, the founding partner and a pivotal figure in the Mexican legal landscape, will transition to the roles of Honorary Chairman and Of Counsel. In this capacity, he will maintain an active role in key cases and continue to provide valuable insights to the firm and its clients.

The new Executive Committee members bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record.

Adrián Magallanes, who joined the firm in 2002, co-leads the disputes practice encompassing arbitration and litigation.

Diego Sierra, with the firm since 2006, has been at the forefront of the investigations, compliance, and anti-corruption practice for over a decade. Both partners are recognized leaders in their fields, noted for their contributions to talent development, client relations, and business growth.

The firm also reaffirmed the positions of Luis Burgueño and Fernando Carreño, who have been integral to the Executive Committee since 2019, ensuring a smooth transition during this pivotal time.
