Pablo Mir, appointed Trustee of The Foundation for Natural Resources in Energy Law (FNREL)

Bofill Mir - Pablo Mir, senior partner in the Mining and Natural Resources practice of Bofill Mir Abogados, has been appointed Trustee of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (FNREL) - formerly "Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation".

FNREL is a non-profit educational organisation dedicated to the study and training of natural resources and energy law. It also plays an important role in supporting the development of policies and laws that impact these fields at the national and international levels.

The role of the trustees, who are elected annually for a period of one year, is to support the FNREL in the tasks of education and training in natural resources and energy law.

The FNREL, together with Sonami, the Mining Council and the Mining Lawyers Association, will hold a course on International Mining Law in Santiago next October.

This appointment is in addition to his position as co-chair of the Mining Law Committee of the Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Section of the International Bar Association (SEERIL - IBA) for the period 2023 - 2025.
