Daniel Cifuentes

Daniel Cifuentes has extensive professional experience in employment law and is recognised as one of Spain’s leading lawyers in this practice area. He joined Pérez-Llorca as a partner in the Employment practice in 2014, after many years practising at leading Spanish and international firms.

Experience

As an employment law specialist, he advises on all aspects of employment relationships, from day-to-day workplace issues to the most complex matters arising from commercial transactions and business transfers.

Daniel has built a strong reputation in the market through his successful and extensive experience in areas including dismissals, collective disputes, collective bargaining and mediation.

He also has significant experience advising senior executives and handling proceedings before the labour and administrative courts. He has in-depth technical knowledge of employment law in insolvency proceedings.

His clients include Spanish companies across all sectors and foreign multinationals. He is a trusted adviser to some of the leading companies in the technology, media and social media sectors.
He also works with companies across a range of technically complex sectors, including bioscience/biotechnology, telecommunications and broadband services. He has particularly relevant experience working with companies in the tourism and hospitality sector.
