Profile
José María joined Pérez-Llorca as a partner in 2015. He has practised law since 1997 at several leading domestic and international firms and served as General Counsel of AGBAR (one of the largest water companies in Spain and South America).
Experience
José María specialises in public and private mergers and acquisitions and leads Pérez-Llorca’s ESG practice. He has extensive experience in acquisitions, joint ventures and infrastructure project development in Spain and abroad (the UK, the US, China, Chile, Colombia, etc.). José María also specialises in foundation law and serves as secretary to several boards of trustees (Fundación AGBAR, Fundación CASSA). He is secretary to the boards of directors of several companies in the water sector (Aigües de Barcelona, Compañía de Aguas de Sabadell, Hidralia, etc.).
