Carla is a Senior Associate at BLP in the San José, Costa Rica office, specializing in the Labor & Employment practice.

In her 11 years of experience in the legal profession, she has focused on the management of judicial and administrative processes of different nature, as well as negotiations in judicial and extrajudicial venues. Likewise, she has provided legal advice for the start of operations of companies in Costa Rica.

She has experience as an advisor to multiple companies in litigious processes both in administrative and judicial proceedings, and in administrative processes against the Costa Rican Social Security Fund and other state institutions.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a trial lawyer in Venezuela, as a legal consultant at the Venezuelan Food Corporation and for five years, she worked as a lawyer for the firm P&S Consultores S.C, joining BLP in 2016 and currently being an Associate of the firm.
