Michael is an attorney and notary public with nearly 15 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors. Throughout his career, he has advised various financial institutions, in commercial and corporate matters, as well as in compliance and regulatory areas. His experience includes significant transactions such as the portfolio acquisition between Citibank and Scotiabank in Costa Rica.

He also has experience in the FinTech sector, advising technology companies in the country on compliance and regulatory matters, and representing them before the General Superintendence of Financial Entities (SUGEF), the National Council for the Supervision of the Financial System (CONASSIF), and the Central Bank of Costa Rica.

In the area of dispute resolution and litigation, he serves as a court-appointed curator, handling cases related to labor, family, and civil matters.
