Salamanca has a solid track record in providing tax advice to companies, with a particular focus on tax litigation and defending taxpayers in verification, inspection, and penalty proceedings, as well as in the various avenues of appeal provided for in both national and EU legislation. Throughout his career, he has provided advice on highly complex matters, working in coordination with multidisciplinary teams and taking a comprehensive approach geared towards the client’s needs. In this area, he has led tax proceedings in all their phases and avenues of appeal, both in administrative courts and in contentious-administrative courts and before EU bodies and agencies. He also has extensive experience advising European and third-country investment and pension funds on the recovery of taxes in Spain arising from their investments.
