A&O Shearman advised the lenders, a group of commercial banks, in connection with two multilateral-backed loan facilities totalling USD3.2 billion extended to the Republic of Argentina.
The first facility, in the amount of USD2 billion, is guaranteed by the World Bank’s International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
The second facility, in the amount of USD1.2 billion, is partially guaranteed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
