Bofill Mir advises Altis on the strategic acquisition of a 35% stake in Oxzo, driving innovation in salmon farming
Bofill Mir has advised Altis Principal Investments (‘Altis’) in the acquisition of 35% of Oxzo, a company linked to Fiordo Austral, a leading company in oxygenation for salmon farming.
Bofill Mir ‘s role consisted in the negotiation and materialisation of the acquisition of shares for 35% of Oxzo, which involved the negotiation and preparation of the share purchase and sale agreements and their annexes, a new Oxzo shareholders’ agreement, the performance of due diligence as purchasers, and the constitution and implementation of the investment fund.
This advice stands out in terms of structuring a minority stake that had the ability to influence decisions that would allow Oxzo’s business to grow, so as to capture the interest of the fund’s contributors for this investment.

Fiordo Austral SpA, for the selling party.
The amount of the transaction is confidential. However, in a statement issued by Altis Principal Investments it was reported that Oxzo obtained a syndicated loan for US$55 million, in a transaction led and structured by Altis Servicios Financieros and involving DNB, Rabobank and Scotiabank as creditors.
