DLA Piper Argentina has provided legal counsel to Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Banco Ciudad) regarding the issuance of Class 23 and Class 24 debt securities. The notes are denominated in Purchasing Value Units (UVA) for a total aggregate amount of 55,231,066 UVAs.
The transaction aims to bolster housing finance and infrastructure investment across Argentina. The net proceeds will be allocated toward:
Housing: Expansion of mortgage lending and housing finance.
Infrastructure: Funding for projects in energy, urban development, real estate, culture, and services.
Economic Development: Initiatives focused on advancing the country’s economic and social development.
The debt securities have been authorized for listing and trading on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. (BYMA) and A3 Mercados S.A. (MAE).
