Menezes Niebuhr opens São Paulo office
Menezes Niebuhr Sociedade de Advogados, originally from Santa Catarina and recognized nationally for its integrated and specialized practice, has launched a new office in São Paulo, marking a strategic step in the consolidation of its national presence from Brazil’s main economic and financial center.
The São Paulo office will be led by Cláudia Bonelli, who previously headed the Administrative Law practice and co-led the Infrastructure group at TozziniFreire Advogados for more than 24 years. According to Bonelli, the firm’s presence in São Paulo aims to strengthen proximity to key market players and expand advisory services to national clients while maintaining technical excellence.
Menezes Niebuhr advises companies and economic groups across multiple sectors, providing full-service legal assistance through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach. Its practice areas include Public and Urban Law, Tax, Corporate and M&A, Real Estate, Environmental, Labor, and Criminal Law, enabling coordinated management of complex transactions and strategic projects.
Founding partner Joel de Menezes Niebuhr stated that the expansion reflects a natural stage of institutional maturity. He is recognized for his academic and professional trajectory, particularly in public procurement and contracts, combining academic publications with practical experience in complex matters.
The firm highlights partner involvement, flexibility, and multidisciplinary solutions as key elements of its service model, with a focus on tailored advice and in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses.
The new office is located at Rua Oscar Freire 379, 7th Floor, Cerqueira César, 01426-001, São Paulo, Brazil.
