Miyanou Dufour moves from Hernández & Cía. to Estudio Rodrigo

Lima, July 15, 2026.- Estudio Rodrigo announced the appointment of Miyanou Dufour, who joins from Hernández & Cía., as a partner in its Mining and Environment practice, together with associates Sebastian Saavedra and Flavia Alvarado.

The arrival of Miyanou Dufour, a recognised specialist with almost 20 years of experience, represents a significant addition for the firm and further strengthens its leadership in Mining and Environment. Before the move, Dufour was a partner at Hernández & Cía., where she worked in the Mining and Environment practices.

The new group joins Estudio Rodrigo’s Mining and Environment team, described by the firm as a leader in the Peruvian legal market, further strengthening its operational capacity.

The additions respond to the high volume of new large-scale mining projects that will be developed in the country, against a backdrop of increasing regulatory complexity and environmental oversight.

Through this move, Estudio Rodrigo expands the capacity of its mining and environmental team, which has consolidated its position as a benchmark in the Peruvian legal market, ensuring comprehensive and sophisticated coverage for local and international clients.

Luis Carlos Rodrigo, senior partner of Estudio Rodrigo, commented:

"The evolution and sophistication of mining activity in the country require teams with an exceptional level of specialisation and technical depth. Miyanou, Sebastian and Flavia are recognised specialists in the market in mining and environmental matters. Their addition to our firm consolidates the leadership position we hold in the Peruvian market and will enable us to meet our clients’ needs even more broadly, with the excellence we always seek".

Miyanou Dufour, the new partner at Estudio Rodrigo, said:

"This is a new chapter that I approach with great enthusiasm, joining Estudio Rodrigo with Sebastian and Flavia. The firm is internationally recognised for its leadership and track record in the mining market, so there is no doubt that we are joining the ideal team to develop at the highest level and become involved in the country’s most important and complex mining projects".
