Marcela Mancía joins IGNITE and launches IP practice
Marcela Mancía has joined IGNITE Legal & Financial Advisors as partner, where she will lead the launch of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice in El Salvador.
The move marks a new stage following nearly a decade leading a regional structure and reflects growing demand for strategic advisory in the protection of intangible assets, according to the firm.
With more than 27 years of specialization, Mancía is regarded as one of the leading IP practitioners in El Salvador. Her track record includes serving as the exclusive country member for El Salvador in the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), as well as active participation in INTA and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where she recently served on the Host Committee for the regional meeting held in El Salvador.
"IGNITE is the answer to clients’ need for a strategic partner on the front line of defending their assets," Mancía said.
The new practice will focus on trademark portfolio management, patents, anti-piracy, advertising law, and the protection of intangible assets, with an approach that bridges local regulation and international standards.
The firm positions itself as a boutique legal and financial advisor offering a strategic, multidisciplinary and highly personalized service.
